Adult Reconstructive
Fellowship

The Ortho San Antonio Adult Reconstructive Fellowship is a one-year program

….designed to provide an additional year of sub-specialty training in hip and knee replacement and revision surgery to orthopedic surgeons who have completed their five-year orthopedic surgery residency. While these surgeons could be in practice, they have instead elected to spend an extra year of advanced training in hip and knee reconstructive surgery, such that they are able to take this higher-level skill set to their respective communities, thereby providing a higher level of care to their patients throughout south Texas and beyond.

The fellows will concentrate both clinically and operatively to identify and treat a wide variety of knee and hip conditions from the most basics to the most complex pathologies.

This program is funded through the Ortho San Antonio ABM Foundation. This is a tax-exempt 501 c entity that supports the salaries of the fellows and support staff and is highly dependent on charitable donations
